Join the TCC Library in celebrating Women's History Month this March!

Join the TCC Library in celebrating Women’s History Month this March.   A display at the Southeast Campus Library will highlight this year’s theme, “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives.”
2015 marks the 35th anniversary of the Women’s History Movement and the National Women’s History Project, which has succeeded in bringing the impact of women’s lives and accomplishments into its rightful place, reflecting the influence of women on history, politics, science, society, and every other aspect of life.   What began as a grassroots organization in 1980 has grown exponentially into an influential national institution, dedicated to “writing women back into history.”  Young girls and women today can find a myriad of female role models across a highly diverse range of cultural, ethnic, occupational, racial, class, and regional backgrounds.  You can find a myriad of books about extraordinary women and their influence at your TCC Library.  Just a few of our new titles are featured below.  Stop by and check these out!
