Keep Calm and Drink Free Coffee in the Library & Hours Update

The Library will offer free coffee to students during finals week to help with the stress of finals week.  We wish everyone the best! 
 

Note about Library Hours:
Friday, May 9
Southeast Campus Library will close early at 5:00 p.m. for Commencement.

Saturday, May 10
All campus libraries will keep regular Saturday hours:
Northeast  and West : 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Metro Campus : 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m.
Southeast Campus: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.


Intersession, May 11 - June 1
The Library at all campuses will be be open:
7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday
Closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
(closed on Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day)

Love and celebrate the planet! Use the library's resources to increase your environmental awareness for Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Sat. April 4/26 - Louder Than a Bomb University

Enter to participate in Louder Than a Bomb University a poetry slam for the ages of 18-25! Compete against other students by reading or reciting an original poem. You will be judged and, depending on your score, advanced to the next round. Sign up for LTAB-U, go to http://alturl.com/krwq8 or pick up a form at any TCC campus library.
(entry deadline is Saturday, April 12, extended to Friday, April 25 )


Performance Date:
April 26, 2014 at Tulsa Community College
Southeast Campus in the Chat Room at 1:00 p.m.
Make sure you have at least 3 pieces, 3 minutes or less, ready to perform. Bring your art and share it with the world. There will be cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place winners. You will also be winning funds for the high school Louder Than a Bomb team you are representing.

Need help with getting ready for the poetry slam or just interested in poetry?
There are poetry workshops with coaches to help you!

LTAB-U POETRY Workshops (open to ALL students)

(Sponsored by TCC, Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa, Louder Than a Bomb- Tulsa)
As a prelude of the poetry slam on April 26, There will be workshops with poetry coaches present to give you a little more insight on poetry and poetry reading afterwards.

April 9th, 4pm- 6pm TCC Metro Campus Room : NSU 214 (East Lounge, Student Union Building)

April 17, 1pm - 3pm TCC Southeast Campus Room 7216 (Building 7, Library Classroom)

Both workshops feature Claire Collins and Denali Gillaspie
